Apr 7 - +30cm powder day for outgoing clients at Eagle Lodge!! No skiing in the afternoon as its snowing heavily.
Apr 6 - Eagle Lodge guests had a great afternoon of powder skiing with poor weather.. but it was awesome thanks to 20cm of new snow! No luck for the Tweedsmuir guests so they went to hot-springs by the sea instead. Saw some sea otters
Apr 5 - Another 15-20cm overnight and into today, though that prevented us form skiing, so some guests went fly fishing, others went to check out Bella Coola town.
Apr 4 - Another epic day with up to 60cm fresh snow.
Apr 3 - High winds, low viz. Guests we're pretty tired from last 3 ski days, so no skiing. Suspect +20cm of new! Full reset once again!!! Feb temps in April.
Apr 2 - 30 cm new low density. Excellent skiing!
Apr 1 - 30-40cm of new! Phenomenal low density April powder. 10 out 10 skiing. Run of the day: 4500' on French Connection.

Mar 28 - Holy moly! An Eagle Lodge group did 20 runs and 41,600ft of vertical! Epic day of powder skiing before the storm hits tonight! Tweedsmuir guide said: "Waist deep wallowing walking around the heli!" Hahahaha!
Mar 27 - 40-60cm of fresh! Unfortunately lots of wind too, therefore avy risk was too high to ski, so did a tour of the town for Eagle Lodge. Tweedsmuir got out for a half day.
Mar 26 - Downday due to heavy snowfall. Organized a boat tour to the Talheo Hot Springs for Eagle Lodge guests. Guests enjoyed the tour and saw a humpback whale and dolphins.
Mar 25 - Low viz but epic day of storm snow skiing! Full face shots Bella Coola style on Sweden.
Mar 24 - Excellent day of powder skiing on a transfer day. 5 runs! Up to 30cms of recent storm snow making for great skiing in the western Big Snow zone. Nothing beats skiing low density powder with ocean views in the background.
Mar 23 - Blower powder, skiing above the ocean. Ended up at the hot-springs with the entire lodge....23 people including guests and staff! Hot springs, helicopters, guitar, a bonfire, smokies and marshmallows. Great way to end the week! Guests are blown away by the day, the week, the whole experience!
Mar 22 - Snowing! No skiing today except for 1 group got out for a short time at Eagle Lodge. Took clients fishing at Tweedsmuir. Guessing 5-20cm of new!
Mar 21 - 5cm new had some great skiing in the alpine. Hit some good steeps to 45 degrees!
Mar 20 - No skiing today, snowing back in the mountains, guessing 10cm. Some Tweedsmuir guests went fishing. Guests at Pantheon Heli Ranch were able to ski.

Webcam

The reason we installed this webcam was NOT to measure snow depth but to view the weather. The webcam is located in a part of our tenure that we don’t often ski as it does not receive as much snow as other areas of our tenure! The location was chosen as the view allows the guides to see what weather is coming into our operating area. For example, if we are fogged in at the lodge and we’re waiting for it to clear, the guides can monitor the webcam in order to see if the weather is clearing. If it is, they will make the “let’s go skiing” call and you can gear up asap....giving you more time on snow.
