Ski & Snowboard Equipment

Specifically Selected For Our Conditions

We strongly recommend leaving your skis or snowboard at home and selecting from our extensive list of skis and snowboards, which have been specifically selected for the snow conditions in Bella Coola. Free use of skis, snowboards, bindings, poles, and avalanche safety equipment are included in the cost of all heli-skiing packages.

Please note that the planes that fly to Bella Coola / Anahim Lake are quite small and have a very strict luggage capacity of 23kg (50lb) per person for all bags.

By using our equipment you ensure adequate space for other essential items, you reduce the need to lug heavy equipment through the airport, and you eliminate the risk or your equipment being damaged or lost in transit.

Don't worry, you do not need to make a reservation. We will capture your equipment preferences during the booking process and we will fit you with the appropriate size and specifications on the first day of the program.

If you are joining us for the Heli-Assisted Ski Touring program, please bring your own Alpine Ski Touring set-up as we do not carry touring skis, boots, or bindings.

**Important** you must bring your own ski and snowboard boots as we do not offer them. If you don't have any boots, please rent some from your local shop. If you are renting boots, or have brand new boots, we strongly suggest you ski on them for a few days before your trip. Your feet will thank you.

Our fleet of skis include the following brands, models, and sizes:

All of our skis are equipped with Salomon Warden 13 bindings.

Our fleet of snowboards include the following brands, models, and sizes:

All of our snowboards are equipped with Burton Cartel Re:Flex bindings.

Our new snowboard fleet is awesome! The shape of our snowboards help to keep the nose up and the board floating, while maintaining an athletic and powerful centre stance. Thus helps to eliminate the need to constantly lean back, which allows you to ride all day without burning out or risking injury.

For details on our safety gear such as airbags, transceivers etc, please see the Safety Equipment page.
