Bella Coola Heli Sports operates in the glaciated wilderness of BC’s central coast. We provide world-class skiing in the winter and connect our guests with incredible wilderness adventures in the summer. We operate from four remote properties, one of which is in the Tatla Lake region of the Chilcotin, and three are in the Bella Coola Valley. Overview

We are looking for hard-working hospitality enthusiasts to help us create a magical and memorable experience for our guests. Our Guest Services team does it all – serving, housekeeping, hosting, and essentially jumping into whatever task the day may bring. This is a physically active position, where teamwork and a willingness to help across all departments are a must.
We are looking for employees who take great pride in their work, and those where the term ‘attention-to-detail’ resonates. While we strive to create a fun, warm, and enthusiastic environment, we never waver in our service. The details matter, and etiquette where it counts is important. Our people are our most valuable asset in leveraging our guests’ experience. Our Guest Service team must enjoy interacting with our guests, and they must be skilled at making people feel welcome, comfortable, and happy in a restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

Guest Experience
<ul>
<li>Provide warm, approachable, and professional guest service throughout all interactions</li>
<li>Anticipate guest needs and go above and beyond to fulfill them</li>
<li>Creative freedom is given on little projects such as welcoming guests from their afternoon/all day activities (making up fun drinks, themes/decor)</li>
<li>Set up, assist with, and clean up after all meal services</li>
<li>Participate in pre-shift discussions to have a comprehensive understanding of the menu and know guests&#8217; dietary preferences</li>
<li>Support elevated dinner service with thoughtful pacing, elegant table settings, 
and attention to ambiance</li>
</ul>
Lodge Presentation and Facility Upkeep
<ul>
<li>Maintain high standards of cleanliness and order across all guest spaces, lodge common areas, and service areas.</li>
<li>Upkeeping the Main Lodge area &#8211; mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming; dusting and washing surfaces; cleaning guests and staff washrooms</li>
<li>Laundry &#8211; collecting service napkins, polishing and kitchen rags, and keeping up with their washing and restocking, helping with both linens and guest laundry</li>
</ul>
Operational Support and Team Collaboration
<ul>
<li>Work as part of a cohesive team—communicating needs, offering assistance, and maintaining shared responsibilities</li>
<li>Follow daily schedules with flexibility, understanding that roles often overlap in a small, dynamic lodge environment</li>
</ul>

Qualifications

A Must
<ul>
<li>Serving experience</li>
<li>2yr+ experience in a hospitality position (F&amp;B, housekeeping, concierge or 
similar)</li>
<li>Articulate and personable personality</li>
<li>Highly motivated and enjoy working on your feet</li>
<li>Detail oriented</li>
<li>Ability to work away from home and work long hours</li>
<li>Applicants must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident</li>
</ul>
Preferred
<ul>
<li>Experience in the heli-skiing or remote lodge industry</li>
<li>Housekeeping, serving, or bar tending experience</li>
<li>Enthusiasm for skiing and the outdoors</li>
</ul>
