Our Lodge

Nestled within Tweedsmuir Provincial Park, Bella Coola, BC, the historic Tweedsmuir Park Lodge is an inviting, family-style lodge with all the comforts of home. 70km from Bella Coola Harbour, the Lodge is situated on 60 acres or pristine wilderness land, boasting abundant summer recreation opportunities.

Originally built in the early 1930's as a hunting lodge, the lodge was rebuilt in 1952 to accommodate those seeking out a more eco-friendly adventure. The lodge is well known for its warm, family style environment and the calming effect it has on those lucky enough to visit.

On cooler evenings guests can relax in front of two huge fireplaces, enjoy our new spa facility and soak in the outdoor hot tub after a big day of fishing or hiking. Then retire to the lodge deck to sip on a beverage, before dinner, where you can peacefully enjoy glimpses of the wildlife and breathtaking mountain views.

Our Cabins

Come nightfall, guests retreat to their own private cabins and chalets to call home during their stay. These cozy log cabins are beautifully constructed, have amazing views, and provide a serene setting to spend your adventure holiday.

Cuisine

Choose the freedom of cooking your own meals in either of the fisherman's cabins, the Owl and Fox, each equipped with full kitchens. Or indulge in healthy, gourmet meals served in the main dining room of the lodge. Meals are prepared from fresh and local ingredients, whenever available, in the lodge kitchen and then served in the main dining room.
